In short: we collect almost nothing. There are no accounts, no newsletter, no logins and no reader profiles. If you email us or use the contact form we use your message to reply and nothing else. We never sell personal data.
1. Who is the controller
GreenLine Review is the data controller for personal data processed through this website. Contact for all data matters: info@greenlinereview.co.uk. We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
2. What we collect
| Data | When | Lawful basis | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Name, email, message | Only if you use the contact form or email us | Legitimate interests — replying to your enquiry | 24 months, then deleted |
| Cookie consent choice | When you press Accept or Reject | Legitimate interests — honouring your choice | 12 months, in your browser |
| Aggregated analytics | Only after you press Accept | Consent | Up to 13 months |
| Server logs (IP, user agent, time) | Every request, by our hosting provider | Legitimate interests — security and fault diagnosis | Typically 30 days |
3. What we never collect
- No accounts, passwords or logins — there is nothing to register for.
- No payment or card details. We take no payments from readers of any kind.
- No gambling account data. We have no access to any operator's systems, balances or transaction history.
- No special category data, and no data knowingly relating to anyone under 18.
- No newsletter list, because we do not run one.
4. Children
This website is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it immediately.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We share only with the service providers necessary to run the website, each acting under contract and only on our instructions:
- Hosting provider — serves the website and keeps short-lived server logs.
- Email provider — carries correspondence with the editorial desk.
- Analytics and advertising measurement providers — only if you consented, and only in aggregate.
We may also disclose data where we are legally required to. Where a provider processes data outside the UK, transfers are covered by UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
6. Affiliate links and what they do not tell us
When you click an operator link, the operator's affiliate network may record that the click came from us, typically through a code in the destination address. This lets the operator pay the correct commission. It reports to us only in aggregate — counts of clicks and registrations. We never receive your name, email address, deposit amounts, balance, staking activity or any other identifiable detail about your account. Once you arrive on an operator's website, that operator's own privacy policy governs everything that happens there. Read the Disclosure page for the full commercial picture.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: be informed; request access to your personal data; have inaccurate data corrected; request erasure; restrict processing; data portability; object to processing based on legitimate interests; and withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis. Exercising these rights is free, and we respond within one calendar month. Email info@greenlinereview.co.uk.
8. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office — ico.org.uk, helpline 0303 123 1113.
9. Security
The website is served over HTTPS. We apply standard security headers, keep dependencies patched, and restrict access to correspondence to the small number of people who need it. No transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, but we take these obligations seriously.
10. Changes
Any change to this policy is published on this page with a revised date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the home page for a reasonable period.
