We check the register first and write second

GreenLine Review is a small independent editorial desk in London covering casino brands licensed by the Great Britain Gambling Commission. We are not an operator. We do not accept stakes, hold funds, or run any form of gambling. What we do is read licence records, open accounts, move real money through the cashier, and write down what happened.

WHO

A three-person desk

One editor, one reviewer who handles account opening and payments testing, and one compliance reader who checks every licence claim and every legal page before publication. Nothing goes live without all three signing off. There is no automated content, no spun copy and no syndicated feed on this website.

WHY

Because footers lie less than adverts

The British market is full of consumer brands that are really white labels — a name on the door and somebody else's licence behind it. That is legal and common, but it changes who holds your money and who answers a complaint. Almost nobody explains it. We put the licensee first on every page for exactly that reason.

HOW WE SCORE

Six categories, fixed weights, no exceptions

Lobby depth, cashier speed, live tables, mobile build, customer support and safer gambling tooling. Each is marked out of ten against a written rubric and averaged to the published score. Licensing does not appear as a category because it is not a spectrum — an operator either holds a current GB licence covering the activity, in which case it can be reviewed, or it does not, in which case it never reaches the desk.

01

Independence

Scores are finalised and recorded before any commercial link is added to a page. No operator has ever been shown a review before publication.

02

Corrections

Factual errors are fixed quickly and noted on the page. Licence details, payment methods and bonus terms get priority.

03

No submissions

We carry no comments, forums, uploads or reader ratings. Every word is written and checked in-house.

Editorial standards

Three rules govern what appears here, and they are not negotiable when a commercial conversation gets awkward.

  1. Verify at source. Every licence number, account number and licensee name on this website was read on the Gambling Commission public register, not copied from an operator's footer or a competitor's page. The register link is printed so you can repeat the check.
  2. Test before writing. A review requires an account opened in the reviewer's own name, a deposit, a period of ordinary use and a completed withdrawal. Anything we have not tested is described as untested.
  3. Say what it cost. Where a link earns us a commission, the page says so at the link itself — not only in a policy page nobody opens.

What we deliberately avoid

  • Urgency language, countdown timers and manufactured scarcity around gambling offers.
  • Any suggestion that gambling is a way to make money, solve financial difficulty, or that skill overcomes house edge.
  • Imagery, language or channels likely to appeal to under-18s. This website is for adults only and is labelled as such in the header, footer and page metadata.
  • Bonus figures quoted without their wagering requirement, minimum deposit and expiry attached.

Who this is for

Adults in Great Britain, aged 18 or over, who have already decided to open an account somewhere and want to know which operator is behind the brand before they hand over a debit card. If you are looking for a reason to start gambling, this is the wrong website — try the Responsible Gaming page instead.

Ownership and funding

GreenLine Review was founded in 2026 and is independently owned. It is funded by affiliate commission from a small number of licensed operators, described in full on the Disclosure page. No operator holds any equity in the publication and no operator has any right of review over its content.

Contact the desk. Corrections, licensing queries and commercial questions all go to info@greenlinereview.co.uk, or use the contact form. We aim to reply within two working days.
